Dec 2016 Vote: HB2 Letters to NCGA Republican Senators: Both Thanks and Disappointment

SAMPLE LETTERS HERE.  Use these two letter or write your own.
Thank you!
These 16 North Caolina Senate Republicans Voting To Repeal HB2 need to hear from you!  They were the only Senators to vote for repeal!
Copy/Paste the following emails into the TO line of your email:
Your AYE vote to repeal HB2 on 12/22/2016 is beyond comprehension, especially because you are sixteen Republicans and the only ones to vote for repeal!   There is absolutely no excuse for putting women and children at risk.  You have a moral, ethical, and legal responsibility as a representative of WE THE PEOPLE to #KeepNCsafe.  This is a safety and common sense issue. There can be no excuse for a repeal of HB2.
It is also no secret what Roy Cooper and the Left are trying to pull …  Get HB2 repealed so other municipalities can then pass these horrid gender neutral ordinances! It’s public knowledge.  You have an obligation to keep us safe and protect private property rights.  Until Charlotte passed their ordinance, there was no problem.
Moreover, there is no way to ever support any of you again for office.  You have proven untrustworthy and you lack moral judgement. You have demonstrated that you will placate and cave to the Left’s lunacy at our expense. You need to go home.  You’ve been in Raleigh for too long.  In the next election, I will seek to elect principled citizens to office beholden to the safety and well being of all North Carolinians.
This vote was a monumental mistake that will continue to haunt those who made it.  For the sake of all of us, the legislature should not take this up again.
Greatly disappointed and determined to replace all compromised representatives!
Sincerely,
Your name and address
Thank you so very much for voting NO on the HB2 repeal.  You have given the folks in North Carolina a great Christmas present to #KeepNCsafe.
You stood up for what is right by refusing to cave to Charlotte and the
Human Rights Campaign. Your leadership and courage thwarted EqualityNC and Human Rights Campaign to take Charlotte-like ordinances and Roy Cooper’s bathroom scheme to cities, towns and municipalities across our state in 2017.
You stood up for HB2 that serves as the legal barrier that prevents men who “think” they are women in women’s restrooms.
It was a monumental mistake for your sixteen Republican colleagues to vote to repeal HB2.  Instead, you voted for safety and common sense and earned the trust of North Carolinians with your NO vote.   I will be supporting principled candidates, like you, (not them) in the next election.
Why the GOP legislature would even think to touch any part of the bill is incomprehensible and shameful.  Be assured, the citizens of North Carolina will stand behind You in 2017 on this issue.
Thank YOU!
Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy and Healthy New Year!
Sincerely,
Your name and address

Thank You To Senator Edwards who voted NOT to repeal HB2

12/22/2016

Dear Senator Edwards,  (chuck.edwards@ncleg.net)

Thank you so very much for voting NO on the HB2 repeal.  You have given the folks in North Carolina a great Christmas present to #KeepNCsafe.  Why the GOP legislature would even think to touch any part of the bill is mystifying.  Be assured, the conservative grassroots are very unhappy with those who voted for repeal.  We cannot support them.
Have a very Merry Christmas.  ATP would also like to meet with you to discuss how best to support you and a conservative agenda. Let us know what is convenient.
Thanks again for your vote!  We look forward to hearing from you.  Jane Bilello, Hendersonville, NC  cell 209 986 3845

Letter to  NC Republican Senator Jim Davis who voted NOT to #KeepNCsafe.
12/23/2016
Dear Senator Davis,  (jim.davis@ncleg.net)
It is with great disappointment that Asheville Tea Party writes this.  Your AYE vote to repeal HB2 is beyond comprehension.  You have a moral, ethical, and legal responsibility as a representative of WE THE PEOPLE to #KeepNCsafe.  There can be no excuse for this vote.
There is not one conservative group who can support this AYE vote from you and the fifteen other Republican Senators.  Moreover, there is no way we can ever support any of you again for office.  You have proven untrustworthy and you lack moral judgement. You have demonstrated that you and the fifteen will placate and cave to the Left’s lunacy at our expense. You need to go home.  You’ve been in Raleigh too long.  In the next election, we will seek to elect principled citizens to office beholden to the safety and well being of all North Carolinians.

Wall of Shame:  16 AYE votes to Repeal HB2 came from all Republican NC Senators.  The 32 NO votes in yellow come from Democrats on the advice of gov elect Roy Cooper.  For the rest of the story go to http://ashevilleteaparty.org/?p=14882
