WNC Military History Museum in Brevard Grand Opening

Emmett Casciato, who is opening a new military museum in Brevard, will be our special guest at Tea Time.  We are supporting the Grand Opening on Friday, August 25th and 10AM, at 21 East Main Street in Brevard, right next to the Transylvania County Courthouse.   Veterans and their families are honored for their service to our nation from WWI to the present - all branches of our Armed Forces, highlighting WWI, WWII, The Korean War, The Cold War, The Vietnam War, The Iraq War, and the War in Afghanistan.The WNC Military History Museum's web site is:  www.wncmilitaryhistorymuseum.com.

The brand new WNC Military History Museum will hold its Grand  Opening/Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, August 25th at 10am. 

Itis located at 21 East Main Street in Brevard, right next to the Transylvania County Courthouse. The hours of operation will be Wed. through Sat. from 10am-4pm, and on Sundays from 1pm-4pm.

Groups tours can also be arranged by request.

The museum provides an avenue for people to honor and appreciate the men and women who served so bravely in all branches of our Armed Forces, highlighting WWI, WWII, The Korean War, The Cold War, The Vietnam War, The Iraq War, and the War in Afghanistan. You'll see original newspapers, personal letters, one-of-a-kind artifacts, uniforms, weaponry, etc. In addition, lectures will be given on many aspects of military life and history, movies for patron's enjoyment will be offered on a monthly basis, and special exhibitions by outside organizations and private collectors will be featured.
